Kimberly-Clark Implements Plant Closure Plan, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Paper producer Kimberly-Clark announced last year it was planning to close about 10 manufacturing facilities over the next three years across its worldwide operations.
The company's plant in Eldorado do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil, will cease operations at the end of May. The company will migrate production to other plants in the country. Kimberly-Clark expects to reduce its structural cost base and enhance its flexibility to invest in its other manufacturing plants.
