Volvo to Invest $67 Million in Brazilian Automotive Operations, an Industrial Info Market Brief
The Volvo Group has announced plans to invest Brazilian reais (R)$250 million (US$67 million) in its Brazilian automotive operations from 2019 to 2020, in addition to the R$1 billion (US$270 million) announced in 2017, which still is ongoing. The additional investment will be earmarked for all of Volvo's operational segments, from trucks and buses to construction machinery, marine and industrial engines, as well as research and development of new products and services.
