U.S. LNG Sector Sees More Than $26 Billion in Planned 2019 Project Completions
SUGAR LAND--February 21, 2019--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--This year is set to be a strong one for the U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector. Earlier in February, Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) (Irving, Texas) and Qatar Petroleum reached a positive final investment decision to proceed with construction of the Golden Pass LNG project in Sabine Pass, Texas. Construction is expected to begin this quarter, with the plant entering operation in 2024. Perhaps even more exciting is the completion of several LNG projects, many of which have been in construction for several years.
