Not All LNG Projects Move Forward in British Columbia, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Steelhead LNG has placed its planned Kwispaa LNG terminal on hold due to financing issues. The project was in the design phase, with a financial investment decision expected in 2020. Steelhead had partnered with the Huu-ay-aht First Nation on the project. The LNG production site has a design capacity of 12 million metric tons per year and Steelhead has until 2026 to construct and ship first exports if a decision to proceed is made.
