With the increase in consumption of data in its various forms over the past years, most many people are familiar with the major firms involved in data center operations, such as Google, Facebook, and Microsoft. There are also several less well-known firms in the U.S. that are making a mark on the boom in data center infrastructure. One such firm is Quality Technology Services (QTS), which is becoming a force in the hyperscale and hybrid colocation markets. Industrial Info is tracking five QTS projects valued at $775 million in the U.S. As more companies turn to colocation facilities to meet their data storage requirements, QTS will be able to grow its facilities.
