A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan's coastal city of Hualien on Thursday. The earthquake has not affected operations at nearby refining facilities, including the 560,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Formosa Mailiao Refinery, the 200,000-BBL/d CPC Taoyuan Refinery and the 450,000-BBL/d CPC Talin Refinery.
