AltaGas' Ridley Island Terminal Begins Shipping Propane, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Attachment: Propane Storage Projects
AltaGas has commissioned its propane export terminal in British Columbia, Canada, and is ready to begin exporting the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sometime next week. Industrial Info is tracking 20 North American propane storage projects worth $836 million. Click here for the list of projects.
Japan's Astomos Energy will carry the first shipment from Ridley Island and has agreed to purchase 50% of the propane ready for export from the site. AltaGas hopes to take advantage of its proximity to Asian markets, as opposed to Gulf Coast LPG terminals, whose location doubles the shipping time.
