The U.S. and Canadian governments released a joint statement today announcing the cessation of steel and aluminum tariffs and retaliatory tariffs leveled against each other since last year. The move paves the way for work on the NAFTA replacement trade agreement between the U.S., Canada and Mexico (USMCA).
