China Approves Second River-Based LNG Terminal, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Earlier this month, the Development and Reform Commission of China's Hunan Province approved the first phase of the Yueyang LNG Receiving Terminal. It is the second liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal to be approved for construction along one of China's rivers.
Early in January 2019, the Development and Reform Commission of China's Anhui Province approved the first phase of the Wuhu LNG Receiving Terminal. Three more LNG terminals have been proposed along the Yangtze River.
