China's power-generation output totaled 558.9 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in May, a 0.2% increase from May 2018, according to an announcement from China's National Bureau of Statistics. From January through May 2019, China's power-generation output totaled 2.8 trillion kWh, a 3.3% increase from the same period last year.
