Hindustan Coca-Cola Could Exit India's Bottling Sector, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages is exploring the possibilities of departing the bottling sector from India and plans to franchise its bottling segment. According to CNBC TV 18, the company is in talks with its existing independent franchise bottlers for the divestment of its bottling plants. Reasons to leave the bottling division include getting rid of a low-margin business to concentrate on higher-margin sectors.
