Shell Joins the 100,000-BBL/d Club in Gulf of Mexico, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Three platforms in the Gulf of Mexico are producing more than 100,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) of crude oil, according to production data collected by Industrial Info. Shell Offshore Incorporated's Ursa TLP is both the highest-producing platform, at 112,044 BBL/d, and the fastest-growing in production, at 37,793 BBL/d higher in first-quarter 2019 versus the typical 2018 quarter.
