Pharma-Biotech Meeting to Be Held in South Korea About Investment in Ireland, an Industrial Info Market Brief

According to the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association (KPBMA), a consultation of CEOs in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in South Korea will be held in Seoul on October 1 with the Investment and Development Agency of Ireland (IDA Ireland). As a state-sponsored organization that selects and invests in highly promising overseas companies, the IDA Ireland will help talented Korean companies make inroads into Ireland.

Currently, SK Biotech, one of Korea's leading pharmaceutical-biotech companies, is the first Korean company to invest in pharmaceutical manufacturing in Ireland, acquiring and operating an active pharmaceutical ingredients production plant of Bristol-Myers Squibb in Swords, Ireland.
