China's Natural Gas Production Jumps 10.6% in September, an Industrial Info Market Brief

China production of natural gas totaled 13.5 billion cubic meters in September, a 10.6% increase over production in September 2018, and four percentage points higher than in August, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.

For the year through September, natural gas production in China was 127.7 billion cubic meters, an increase of 9.5% year over year.

China imported 8.21 million metric tons of natural gas in September, a 7.8% increase year over year. For the year through September, imports reached 71.22 million metric tons, an increase of 10%.
