Three Contractors Completing for Barossa Drilling Project in Australia, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Three contractors - Diamond Offshore, Transocean and Valaris - are competing for the drilling contract for Australia's Barossa offshore field development project. Drilling will take place 300 kilometres north of Darwin in the Northern Territory within the Bonaparte basin, located in the Timor Sea. A contract award is expected before the end of the year.
