India Sees 130 Pharma-Biotech Project Kickoffs Planned for First-Half 2020, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Despite a partial slowdown in the economy, India is likely to see substantial movement in its Pharma and Biotech sector, with as many as 130 capital projects kicking off in the first half of 2020. According to Industrial Info's project database, the state of Gujarat (India's pharma hub) will lead the race, with 36 projects, worth a total investment value of $138.7 million, that are planned to kick off, followed by the states of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra with 24 and 19 projects, respectively.
