Canada's Pharma-Bio Industry Sees $5 Billion in Potential Investment, an Industrial Info Market Brief

For the past decade, Canada has gone through some trying times in regard to growing and retaining investments in the Pharmaceutical-Biotech Industry. From the municipal to national level, there are initiatives in place to foster increased industry expansions and new builds across the country. Of the 179 active project reports in Canada, 52 are for cannabis-related operations, with a potential investment value of $1.2 billion. However, cannabis is not the major source of the activity, as the burgeoning biological production sector has 28 projects with a value of nearly $1.3 billion.
