China's Investment in Power Generation Jumps 30.9% in First-Quarter 2020, an Industrial Info Market Brief

In the first quarter of 2020, China's investment in power generation reached $8.51 billion, a jump of 30.9% year-over-year. The investment in wind power reached $4.01 billion, and that of hydropower, thermal power and nuclear power dropped 13%, 36.5% and 20.8%, respectively, according to the National Energy Administration.
