Tire manufacturing giant Maxxis Group has big plans to spread its roots in India in the coming years. Maxxis will have five manufacturing factories in India by 2025. The company plans to invest $400 million (USD) in its Sanand Plant in Gujarat, to increase the capacity from 20,000 units per day to 60,000 units per day of two-wheeler tires. Other investments will be in Bagalore, Mysore, Gurugram and Chennai.
