Kazakhstan Bans Cement Imports for Six Months , an Industrial Info Market Brief
Kazakhstan decided to temporarily stop cement imports from countries not within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) for six months from the end of April. The ban affects Portland cement, cement clinker, alumina cement and other types of hydraulic cement. The restrictive measures have been taken as a result of declining cement demand due to the stoppage of construction of many facilities caused the spike of COVID-19.
