Anglo American Suspend Construction at Quellaveco Project in Peru Due to COVID-19, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Anglo American has suspended non-critical works for up to three months at its Quellaveco copper mine and processing project in Peru. The company removed almost 15,000 workers from the site in mid-March in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, maintaining only critical works. Given the progress achieved, Anglo American still expect first production in 2022.
