Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) has postponed boiler cleaning, balance-of-plant maintenance and winter preparations on the John W. Turk 01 unit at its John W. Turk Jr. Power Station in Arkansas. This event was originally scheduled to begin May 2 and end May 15, but now expectations are to start September 5, with completion September 18.
