Marathon Petroleum today, May 20, was forced to shut down the 120,000-BBL/d Crude 3 at its 242,000-BBL/d Catlettsburg, Kentucky, refinery due to unplanned issues. Plant personnel hope to have the unit back in operation within the next 24 to 48 hours.
