Investment in glass wool production of South Korea is increasing. This has been triggered by the South Korean shipbuilding industry, which has been receiving many liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers orders from abroad. Glass wool is used for LNG tank insulation material. KCC Corporation has recently finished its glass wool production line in Munmak. Byucksan Corporation is reviewing the addition of glass wool production lines in its two plants in South Korea.
