European Green Energy Commitment Depresses Indonesia Coal Market, an Industrial Info Market Brief
The environmentally friendly energy plan from European countries have been increasingly serious since the Climate Change conference (COP 25) in Poland last year. Germany and Poland decided to stop the use of coal in order to reduce the carbon emissions and switch to renewable energy. Furthermore, Germany planned to close all power generation units that use coal fuel by 2038 by partial stages. It is predicted the exports of Indonesia coal commodities will increasingly decline through the fourth quarter due to European markets in the power industry and the pandemic.
