A strong industry before the era of COVID-19, the Pharmaceutical-Biotech Industry is on a worldwide new plant-building spree. A recent survey of active new-build reports reveals nearly 1,300 facilities worth more than $80 billion for initial investment are in various stages of planning, engineering and construction. These facilities encompass everything from Q-tips to advanced biologicals, and can be found in virtually every corner of the world.
