Volvo has transferred its bus division business in India to VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), its joint venture with Eicher Motors. The deal is aimed at benefiting both companies, with Volvo gaining access to VECV's wide domestic sourcing and after-sales network, and Eicher gaining access to Volvo's technology and global sales reach.
