Marathon has no current plans to shut down its 530,000-BBL/d Garyville, Louisiana, refinery in advance of Hurricane Delta, but will continue to monitor the storm as it approaches to determine a course of action, if necessary. The refinery continues to operate with a 20% rate reduction, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and lower product demand, and is expected to remain at a reduced rate through the end of the year.
