Mexico's New-build Power-Generation Unit Startup Capacity for January-October Drops 23% from 2019, an Industrial Info Market Brief

For the period between January and October of this year, Industrial Info detected operations startup of 35 new-build power-generation units with an added capacity of 5.4 gigawatts (GW); 3.7 GW in thermal-generation units and 1.7 GW in renewable energy-generation units.
For the same period in 2019, these values were 7 GW for the total newbuild capacity; 4.5 GW in thermal units and 2.5GW in renewable units.
