With an investment of R$350 million (US$62 million), Brazil's Carta Goias Industria e Comercio de Papeis SA plans to construct a 5,000-ton-per-month paper tissue converting plant in Pirai, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Carta Goias started operations in Pirai in 2018. For the next three years, the company said it plans to invest more than R$500 million (US$89 million) in expansion projects, including a new plant and a logistics center.
