Trinidad and Tobago's Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) rejected an offer from Patriotric Energies & Technologies Company Limited to acquire and restart the 190,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Pointe a Pierre Refinery, which has been closed since late 2018.
