Statkraft Energias Renovaveis S.A., a Brazilian subsidiary of Norwegian Statkraft AS, recently kicked off preliminary construction work on its 517-megawatt (MW) Ventos de Santa Eugenia Wind Project in Brazil's northern state of Bahia. The windfarm is expected to become operational by late 2022.
