BP Develops Green Hydrogen Project at German Refinery
BP Europa SE is developing a green hydrogen and synthetic fuels project at its Lingen Emsland Refinery in Germany. The first step will be the construction of a 50-megawatt (MW) Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Plant, with a possible project completion in 2024. This will be followed by a second Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Plant with at least 500-MW capacity, plus a power-to-liquids unit, to produce synthetic aviation fuel.
