Brazilian Consortium Ceran to Inaugurate Third Plant in Rio Das Antas Complex

The Rio das Antas Complex is formed by Monte Claro (130 MW), which started operation in December 2004, and Casto Alves (130 MW), which became operational in May 2008. Monte Claro is equipped with two Alstom Kaplan hydraulic turbines, and Castro Alves is equipped with three 43-MW Alstom Francis hydraulic turbines.
