Dow Starts Up Propylene Glycol Expansion in Thailand

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Dow Thailand has started up the propylene glycol (PG) unit expansion in its integrated manufacturing facility in Map Ta Phut, Rayong. The expanded propylene glycol production adds 80,000 tons per year, which brings the total output capacity to 250,000 tons per year. The Map Ta Phut facility is the largest PG-manufacturing facility in the Asia Pacific, to promote downstream propylene glycol growth in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food markets.
