Enterprise Products Partners Awards Construction Contract for Natural-Gas Pipeline in Colorado

Enterprise Products Partners awarded the design and engineering contract for the pipeline to the Denver office of Alliance Engineering (Houston, Texas), a part of the Wood Group (LON:WG) (Aberdeen, Scotland). The construction contract was awarded to Barnard Pipeline Incorporated (Bozeman, Montana). The new 26-mile pipeline project was originally owned by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Incorporated (Denver, Colorado), a subsidiary of EnCana Corporation (NYSE:ECA) (Calgary, Alberta), and was recently purchased by Enterprise Products Partners. Construction is expected to begin February 2009, and the pipeline is expected to be completed by August 2009.
