In addition to his busy radio career at Industrialinfo.com, Matthews is also a professional drummer and has been for close to 40 years. Larry is the longtime drummer for Motor City rock legends Moose and Da Sharks, a group that has also toured the United States and Canada. Moose and Da Sharks have several recordings under their belt plus a regional hit back in the mid 70's. The band is closing in on its 35th anniversary and according to Matthews "we don't plan to slow down". Larry Matthews has drummed for The Chiffons, Dickey Lee, Jimmy Clanton, Peggy March, Johnny Preston and the late Little Eva.
