Contracts Awarded for Lysebotn II Hydropower Project
GALWAY, IRELAND--March 26, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Andritz Hydro (Hammerfest, Norway) has secured a contract worth approximately 40 million ($55.2 million) to supply two turbines to the new Lysebotn II hydropower station in Norway's Forsand municipality.
The firm has been contracted by utility company Lyse Produksjon AS to supply all the electromechanical equipment for the Lysebotn II project, which will be commissioned in spring 2018.
