SUGAR LAND--December 31, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Hydroelectricity is the predominant energy source in Canada, with more than 74,000 megawatts (MW) from 500 operating power stations that produce 355 terawatts-hours per year, or about 60% the country's electrical needs.
