ERCOT Breaks Wind Generation Record; Texas Prepares for More Windfarms
SUGAR LAND--November 30, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), which is responsible for about 90% of the electricity generated in Texas, reported record-breaking output from the state's wind power generation on Sunday, at 15,033 megawatts (MW) of wind energy at once, topping 15,000 MW of wind generation for the first time ever.
