SUGAR LAND--February 1, 2017--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Solar power developers plan to begin construction of an increasing number of projects across North America in 2017 and 2018. According to Industrial Info's North American Project Platform, 154 solar projects across North America are scheduled to begin construction this year, with total investment value (TIV) of about $19.38 billion. Developers also are scheduled to begin construction on an additional 105 projects valued at $15.13 billion in 2018.
