Earlier this week, Amazon signed an agreement with Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) (Houston, Texas) subsidiary 1PointFive to purchase carbon removal credits for a 1PointFive direct air capture (DAC) project being developed in Texas.
