Mining Firm Vale Reports Lower Quarterly and Yearly Net Income
February 27, 2024--Written by Amir Richani for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Brazil-based metals miner Vale SA (NYSE:VALE) (Rio de Janeiro) has reported net income of US$ 2.41 billion in fourth-quarter 2023 and US$ 7.98 billion for all 2023. The amounts were 35% and 109% lower than the net income reported for fourth-quarter 2022 and all of 2022, respectively.
