SUGAR LAND--March 17, 2014--Reported by Annette Kreuger, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Michigan State University (MSU) is in the final stages of planning and scheduling prior to starting construction on the $730 million Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB). In planning for years, the FRIB will enable scientists to make discoveries about the properties of these rare isotopes in order to better understand the physics of nuclei, nuclear astrophysics, fundamental interactions, and its applications.
