Australia's WestCoast Granville Windfarm Gets Environmental Green Light

PERTH, AUSTRALIA--May 9, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources Australia (Perth, Australia)--WestCoast Wind Pty Limited (Tasmania, Australia) received approvals from the Australian government's Environment Protection Authority (EPA) to build the 99-megawatt (MW) Granville Harbour windfarm in Australia. The project would be located 1.5 kilometers north of Granville Harbour and 25 kilometers northwest of Zeehan in Tasmania. The windfarm would be built on 840 hectares of land owned by Royce Smith, who is the director of WestCoast, in addition to 960 hectares of public land.
