SUGAR LAND--June 26, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Minnkota Power Cooperative Incorporated's (MPC) (Grand Forks, North Dakota) coal-fired Milton R. Young Power Station, located in Center, North Dakota, is running at partial capacity after experiencing a forced outage last month. The 477-megawatt (MW) Unit 2 was forced offline in early May after a boiler was damaged due to a boiler tube excursion, which caused a rupture in the back section of the boiler and severed many of its tubes.
