Canada's NEB Delays Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Another Six Months

Canada

SUGAR LAND--September 25, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--When it originally filed for permits from Canada's National Energy Board (NEB), Trans Mountain Pipeline LLC, a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan (NYSE:KMI) (Houston), expected a 15-month turnaround on its application, with the pipeline expansion set to be completed in 2017. However, after several months, Trans Mountain finds itself pushed back a full six months, with the additional 590,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) of crude oil takeaway capacity set for late 2018.
