GALWAY, IRELAND--January 5, 2015 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Contracts have been awarded for the construction of a new waste-to-energy (WTE) power plant in Dunbar, Scotland.

Just a month after overcoming local authority objections to the €192 million ($230 million) project from the Scottish government, recycling, resources and waste management company Viridor (Somerset, England) has contracted Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S (Solihull, England) and its bid partner, Interserve (Reading, England), to build the plant
