China's Power Consumption Jumps 8.3% in August
BEIJING--September 28, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--China's power consumption reached about 563.1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in August, a jump of 8.3% year over year, and 0.1 percentage points higher than the previous month. From January through August, China's accumulative power consumption reached about 3.89 trillion kWh, an increase of 4.2% year over year. By deducting the "leap day" in February this year, the actual daily consumption was up 3.8% year over year, according to China's National Energy Administration (NEA).
