Kinder Morgan Says Seventh Elba Island LNG Production Train Ready - Kinder Morgan Incorporated (NYSE:KMI) asked U.S. energy regulators on Monday for permission to put the seventh liquefaction train in service at its nearly $2 billion Elba Island liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant in Georgia. Kinder Morgan said Train 8 would be ready for service on July 13, according to a filing with the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). (Project 300106666) (Reuters)

U.S. Natural Gas Output Rises After Mountaineer Xpress Returns to Service - U.S. natural gas production rose over the weekend after TC Energy Corporation's (NYSE:TRP) Mountaineer Xpress pipeline in West Virginia returned to service following unplanned work. Pipeline data showed U.S. output climbed to 88.2 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) on Sunday, up from a low of 87.0 Bcf/d last week, due mostly to the Mountaineer shutdown. EIA: U.S. Shale Oil Production to Decline to Two-Year Low in August - U.S. crude oil output from seven major shale formations is expected to decline by about 56,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) in August to about 7.49 million BBL/d, the lowest in the two years, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said in a monthly productivity forecast on Monday.
